This is explained in article (which I encourage people- especially parents and teachers to actually read), but in addition to nicotine, dangerous and even life-threatening drugs can be vaped or smoked. Vaping/ dabbing/ etc can all be dangerous- especially for kids!
@JeromeAdamsMD I don’t think you can argue no fault for just tweeting the headline. I don’t expect a local news reporter to understand the nuances of vaping terminology or appreciate the public health consequences - but I do expect that of my Surgeon General.

It was dabbing drugs. Not vaping.
Not sure it's sunk it yet, but dabbing is inhaling a concentrated form of THC, while vaping is generally used when concerning inhaling of nicotine. Dabbing may kill you depending on the dose and cleanliness of the drug, vaping nicotine infused liquid will not. Please be better.
But this had nothing to do with nicotine or e-cigarettes at all. It's not possible to use a dab pen for nicotine vaping. A dab pen is 100% used only for cannabis and in this case cannabis mixed with another substance that caused the adverse reaction.
