Dan told the crowd something I’ve observed in my own life: those who live/ work in environments that encourage natural movement every 20 minutes burn WAY more calories than those who try to intentionally work out, but are in environments that don’t encourage movement.

In other words, you cant sit all day, and expect to make it all up in 30 minutes at the gym a few times a week. Movement needs to be incorporated into life, (and as US adults, we spend most of our lives at work...)
