You would do yourself well to start being specific as to the epidemic. It is an overdose epidemic due to illicit drug use, NOT a general opioid epidemic. If you refuse to call the issue what it truly is, you’ll never truly resolve the issue.
When it comes to addressing the opioid epidemic, we cannot operate in silos. We need partnerships and collaboration. No one knows the importance of teamwork, better than regional anesthesiologists #ASRASpring19

How about collaborating with Certified Registered Nurse Anesthestists (CRNAs)? We too provide regional anesthesia and employ opioid free techniques. Together we can can combat the opioid epidemic.

Yes and my pain mgmt doctor is an Anesthesiologist here in Torrance, CA and also worked with soldiers who were wounded. Again, we NEED more pain mgmt doctors out there to help with the overflow of chronic pain pts. You are not listening SG.
