3/5 Nice work by a local public health agency in CO (state which had legalized recreational cannabis) which developed a novel system to monitor marijuana-related ER visits in real time--other states should consider adopting it.

4/5 DYK: some patterns & methods of marijuana consumption may be more risky than others: CO monitoring data suggest that “marijuana tourists” and users of edible marijuana had more ER visits for cannabis side effects than CO residents and marijuana smokers, respectively.
