I know of many kids who have attempted suicide after using “honeycombs” or “Dabs” for an extended period of time (concerts/music festivals). The high THC combined with BHO (Butane Hash Oil) causes psychosis. They’re 5x more potent than MJ and kids use them for that reason.

again, the question is, would you have preferred he had a problem with heroin? The point is not that cannabis is harmless, the point is that the relative risks are extremely different. & it matters because of substitution.

THIS is the point. I’m am sorry for your loss. For the loss of young people with cannabis addiction, opioid addiction, alcohol addiction and any other addiction. Relative risks aside as “substitution” is not so simple.

Dr. Blake- just seeing this. Thanks for sharing your story, sorry abt your son. Hope EVERYONE agrees, we must do all we can to prevent youth marijuana use. Both the product and the delivery systems today can mean MUCH ⬆️ THC to brain than in past, and ⬆️ risk - esp to youth.

Thank you, the newer high THC products are so dangerous for teens, so different from the MJ of the past, Sean would have turned 29 this week.

:( ... I think this is where regulation could really do a lot of good, either by limiting levels, requiring a certain CBD content, or both.

TY Dr Adams for promoting public health, healing and comforting the sick/suffering. Regulation & research to disentangle correlation from causation is key. Let's create illness/#Recovery Friendly USA w/o #stigma so #families, even of MDs, can freely disclose & be loved/supported.pic.twitter.com/Jc4lMh8mTo

Agreed. And one of the best ways to do that is by legalizing cannabis and doing so in a way the erodes the power of the black market. It ain't rocket science.

Same old BS from drug war myths. They is NO science to back up these lies and exaggerations. Gov will not let science look into these claims. What are they afraid of? The real truths?
