Lots of happy 4th yr med students tonight, & a few depressed/ anxious ones. Congrats to all who found out they matched. To those who didn’t, good luck w the scramble, and hang in there. Perseverance got you this far, so keep fighting- your future patients are counting on you!🤞

Please check #soap2019. This scramble has been unfairly detrimental to the unmatched students’ time and health AS WELL AS the significant other that has sat by their side as systems were broken. Many PDs missed clinical work for the broken system and screens that wouldn’t load

Good words. Things can work out. 18 years ago, didn’t match & had to scramble. One year later, got great into great med/PEDS program OUTSIDE THE MATCH. Worked out for me better than the match could have.

Can you talk to the issues with the SOAP process?it is still not accepting applications over 24 hours after it went down yesterday. Lots of freaked out students who can’t scramble.
