Both @SGottliebFDA and I have said many times that e-cigs/ vaping may (under right circumstances) serve as harm reduction for currently smoking adults, but can’t be declared harmless for never smokers, and definitely present a real risk for our kids. #noEcigs4kids

This seems less and less about goals, and more about tactics. These tweets are consistent with the tactic of "if we say e-cigs are terrible, it will reduce youth usage." That is NOT working. It is not stopping youths, but is stopping adults. Let's try the truth for kids & adults.
Nothing but cannabis oil has helped my autism/nerve disorder in the past 36 years and I've been on over a dozen prescriptions. Please listen to the people with autism and the parents with children of autism who are telling you this is actually fixing something major.

The next tactic after saying e-cigs are terrible, is to limit distribution of flavors. Likely outcome: adults will have less access to switching and underage users will find illicit products, just like they do with marijuana. How about working on a truth campaign?
And just who is it that is pushing vaping on non- or never-smokers? Harm reduction is just that - reducing the harm smoking causes - to smokers.
