You are certainly intelligent enough to know that 99.9% of the "harms" associated w/ cannabis only exist because of the policy of prohibition. Continuing that policy is bad for our country. Focusing entirely on "downsides" only serves to do just that. Legalize. Regulate. Educate.
I JUST did a radio interview where I spoke of the downsides of marijuana use (can harm development, impair learning and lead to addiction in youth, harm developing fetus in pregnancy). Here’s one more danger- you could get eaten by a tiger!

The main cause of death for kids in the state of Colorado ages 10 to 24 is suicide. The main drug they are testing positive for is marijuana ages 10 to 19. Marijuana increases suicide risk by 7 fold. We need your help.

Kids aren't dying from cannabis. No one has ever died from it, actually. It's safer to regulate it and require 21+ IDs to purchase instead of dealers who will sell to anyone, kids included. Teen use has been stable or gone down in CO since legalization. What are you fighting?
