@Surgeon_General , sir, you replied to @vapingit that "some independent vape shops have an equally high violation rate." Would you supply the data for this claim, as the @US_FDA data set does not support this same suggestion.

Oh I have searched for my local shops on this already and funny enough most of the violations were done by gas stations and convenience stores. Smoke shops were second and lowest if ANY were vape shops that were bad actors and most are no longer here.

Let me say this one more time so everyone hears/ understands. Vape shops overall are neither a) the worst offenders or b) completely blameless in terms of selling to youth. We all have a role to play to ensure #noEcigs4kids - hoping the good vape shops can share best practices

The fake Juul panic has brought more kids to use ecigs than any shop, gas-station, or tobacconist has. By hyping something they shouldn't do, you've made it something they want to try.

I just ran the numbers on Texas with 28.5 million people. 17/157 or 10.8% of Warning Letters Issued for Ecig violations & 0/81 or 0% of Civil Money penalties for Ecig violations. It appears to me that biggest violators are other than Vape Shops.

Yes as I have stated, I HAVE done this and found MOST of the offenders have been Cstores and Gas Stations. Infact MOST of violations not done by the previous were SMOKESHOPS/HEADSHOPS who dont really focus on their customers. MOST vape shops agree
