@Surgeon_General , sir, you replied to @vapingit that "some independent vape shops have an equally high violation rate." Would you supply the data for this claim, as the @US_FDA data set does not support this same suggestion.

@Surgeon_General , sir, I'm very sincere in my asking, and I thank you for your reply and the link to the information. I will again spend the next few days going through the information. I would also like to resume this conversation when I am done. I'm not here to bash you, only -
Appreciate your engagement. Many are so dug in, they don’t really want to address the problem so much as they want to try and dismiss/ discredit “the opposition.” Again I believe ecigs can
harm in some adult smokers, but I also know kids are initiating at epidemic rates.

Oh I have searched for my local shops on this already and funny enough most of the violations were done by gas stations and convenience stores. Smoke shops were second and lowest if ANY were vape shops that were bad actors and most are no longer here.

Dr. Gottlieb praised the fact that most vape shops are far more rigged with their age verification policies. When the FDA conducted undercover operations to find out if stores were selling to youth, it was the convenience stores which had over 1300 infractions.

I agree with this. Vape shops as a category seem to be doing much better than retail establishments at limiting youth sales. Obviously bad apples and more work to be done all around though. I hope this is something everyone can agree on.

Funny the bulk of the "vape shops" that got warning letters and fines in the name have SMOKE in the name. Weird.... it's almost like they arent a vape shop but a hybrid shop. Now how many violations are actually just vape shops. @__@ but you dont really want that data.
