so the proof is right there , the places in violation arent the vape industry .

I know I said I wasn’t going to comment but in the interest of correcting misunderstandings, this looked at retail chains. Most all vape shops are independent, so they aren’t included in this analysis- but fact is some independent vape shops have an equally high violation rate.

And none of them were vape store chains! Goes to show that vaping isn't the epidemic it's been made out to be.

This data set is pulled from “retail chains.” Vape shops as a whole seem to do a better job than retail chains, but if you go to the fda database, there are still quite a number of serial violations by vape shops. Work to do all around... http://accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/oce/in …

No vape store chains then? That’s interesting to see. It’s also good to see someone doing some enforcement. Now can you look at the synar amendment, 20% failure rate is too much.

By this data showing large chains are very much more likely to sell to the youth. Meanwhile vape shops mostly independent family owned business focus on making sure the purchaser is of age. More one on one interactions with customers in vape shops. Let the professionals do it.

When I was a teenager, I could go to the bowling alley, where there were cigarette machines. It is much harder for kids I think now. At least that's changed in 30 years! Lol

Some of my classmates community outreach included visiting Walgreens and getting them to move tobacco products from eye level and below bc they felt that was them advertising to younger kids. Guess they were really on to something back in 2013!
