My brother Philip is an addict, and bad parenting is often blamed for drug addiction. Well, my parents raised a Surgeon General, I think they did okay

Shameful that you’re labeling your brother “an addict” while being the surgeon general. If this is what you say about your own family, how are you going to provide sound care for people with substance use issues who are not related to you?

This was unnecessary. I am an addict. I no longer suffer with active addiction but I am and always will he an addict and when I lose focus I can/will once again suffer. I actually applaud your stance on the subject this is a real epidemic
