Amazing - thank you for saying this publicly Jerome. You are, indeed, worthy of the position and the responsibilities it comes with. As a person in recovery, thank you, truly.

How about an apology to ppl w/ chronic pain conditions who you’ve scapegoated, conflating Rx pain meds w/ illegal drug abuse, stoking fear in Drs afraid to treat pain, leaving patients abandoned & stigmatized? What if your brother suffered pain instead? Would you care?

Type 1 Diabetes is a chronic disease. If drug addiction is not a choice, but a chronic disease, and our government gives them free medication, why are people with T1D allowed to die with no help? Money and greed. Until we cure greed we will never cure diseases!!

Dr Raphael Mechoulam announced in Oct, a new molecule was discovered in the body that only seems to be released during opiate and nicotine withdrawal. It is shaped very similar to other molecules(2AG;Anandamide) that make up the Endocannabinoid System. Please review.
