There is nothing wrong with PT in conjunction with pain medication. It does not have to be either/or. For many with chronic, debilitating, painful medical conditions, pain medication allows them to stay active which can lead to better QOL. Rx pain medication is not the problem.

Pain meds ALLOW patients to endure their needed physical therapy better which leads to better healing. They go together.

With all due respect Sir... physical therapy can & does help but it does not alleviate the pain. Sometimes it increases the pain. I have had 2 torn rotator cuffs and a total knee replacement and I continue to suffer in pain... daily

1/PT can be helpful but only in some disease processes. As a physician, I would think you would know this. Additionally, I would think you are well aware that someone with a significant personal bias, such as one created when they have experienced the overdose death of a loved

He's doing the opposite (almost). He's in bed with them, of course, but he's also pretending to "go after" them by demonizing opioid medication that many people rely on to function. This is pure corruption He's a collectivist authoritarian, like all leaders (both parties).

What about continuous motorized cold therapy and TENS? Both proven to reduce pain and inflammation and decrease narcotic utilization? MC Eliminated both codes while paying billions for opioids.They are very effective when used in conjunction with PT.
