As of 2016, cancer death rate for men and women had fallen 27% from its peak in 1991. This decline translates to more than 2.6 million deaths avoided between 1991 and 2016. The drop is mostly due to steady reductions in smoking and advances in early detection and treatment.

Is it so hard or difficult to see that vaping is helping in this? Please stop using scare tactics on our pre-adults.
Vaping is responsible for me quitting a 41 yr habit and in the last 4 yrs, I've used it to help hundreds more to successfully quit in my tiny little community. Of course smoking rates are plummeting, because this is happening in communities all across our nation.
Reduction in smoking, but no credit to the vapor industry. Let's be honest that's really why less people are dying!
