4) awareness of link between national security & health
5)Promote community health as a means to economic prosperity

A good start but I’m thinking tobacco.
Where does that fit in? States largely already don’t spend CDC recommended amounts of
$ on cessation which indicates that we aren’t serious about addressing. My county’s smoking rate is 1.5X the national average. That’s okay?@GovHolcomb
Smoking has always been and remains part of SG work. Critical/ connected to all my priorities, including opioids/ addiction, e-cigs, oral health & cancer, national security (~ 1/4 military enlisted smoke), and community health! And my warning is still on the cigarette box!
