That’s great there’s so much help for the 1%-8% of ppl who become addicts, but what about the 92%-99% of legitimate chronic pain pts who need opioids & are NOT addicted? They’re not getting any help! Forced tapers, cut-off, refused at the Pharmacy, MDs scared to tx them...awful!

I cannot have device implants. I have a damaged spinal cord, no disks, lesions & bone spurs, upper motor neuron disease like ALS. U make my last years of life unbearable. This is why Vets r taking their lives in record numbers

Do u, as a physician, realize what severe untreated/undertreated pain does 2 a body? I do! I’ve seen my BP shoot up to 174/115. It’s normally 116/65. Ppl in pain take pain meds 4 relief of pain. Addicts take them 2 get high. Yet u treat them & make us suffer?
