@PamBelluck was all about “clarity” with her terrific interview of the@Surgeon_General at#TEDMED but the “chaos” was Jerome Adams’ “it depends” response when asked if people dying from gun violence is a public health issue. Of course it is!
Gail, health policy is difficult- there isn’t always clarity. By definition a public health problem affects a population. If your “population” is rural community that hunts for food and has zero homicides/ suicides, guns aren’t a problem- they are food and family time.

I believe reducing the discourse to a binary isn't the answer. Special interest groups have hijacked the conversation and benefit from polarizing the country. We can address the issue of gun violence without attacking the 2nd amendment. We can't hide behind this any longer.
