We also must make sure that the needs of chronic pain patients are not ignored. They should be allowed access to the drugs that allow them to live some semblance of a normal life.

Thanks to Dr Adams for making the trip to Hinsdale today addressing the critical opioid epidemic. He and Peter Roskam represent all that is good with the current administrations effort to find solutions and bring awareness to our fight as parents and citizens. We need more of u!

For those of you whom, for some reason (addiction), will not believe that opiates are in fact extremely dangerous, deadly and addictive. Here you are-https://youtu.be/pkeQifzvSNE

One or two per cent of patients prescribed pain relief go on to misuse opioids, yet the past two administrations and lawmakers at the state/federal levels continue to market misleading information by limiting the total population to ONLY addiction sufferers. For those of you whom, do not believe Kratom is the cure for the #OpioidEpidemic you should try it, it's not going to get you high, so you may say it doesn't work but you have to #BeStrong. Kratom is the safe and fast way to get off opiates, subox is just another addiction #truth

Thanks for your hard work on this topic, we are constantly thinking of ways to address this: from community outreach programs to multimodal intraoperative analgesia. What do those struggling with addiction think about solutions to this issue?
