I know someone...and that is my brother. I don’t share his story to evoke sympathy but to remind ppl that if addiction can happen to my family, it can happen to anyone. #PHLopioids #SYKopioidspic.twitter.com/MjBvV5uKWE

There’s another side to the addiction crisis never on your radar, ppl suffering painful conditions, casualties of your Rx opioid prohibition policies. Addicts lives matter. So do 27 million intractable pain patients being stripped of meds & qol. End your bias. You represent both!

My brother suffered like this for three weeks with only 5 days of pain meds. Now CDC says only 3 days usually needed. Copperhead bite in July. Stop torturing pain patients!pic.twitter.com/j7uA6n0xCl

It’s unfortunate however that the most vulnerable citizens in our country with painful incurable diseases and medical conditions are being forced off pain meds due to the actions of addicts, personal responsibility and choices, most CPPS don’t abuse their medication #chronicpain
