I have done the same for my sister as each addicted person has a chronic disease and many have a mental health disorder as athe primary or a comorbidity. These are our families, friends and community members! We cannot let them feel forgotten and must support them to healing!

At the same time our govt is rallying behind those with addiction to support them, our govt is abandoning
#ChronicPain patients. Opioids are taken away and quality of life is gone for ppl in pain. Even cancer & hospice patients aren't getting adequate pain care. Huge hypocrisy!

You should take them to a Cemetery and tell them here’s where your dad puts Veterans that fought for your freedoms as well as innocent Americans suffering with chronic pain. Then pray they never have a wreck or disease that causes chronic pain.

Hey Mr Surgeon General isn't recovery the goal for all of us whether you're an addict or CPP? Recovery is positively participating in life versus observing life. For many opioids, kratom, CBD OIL, cannabis is what allows us to participate positively in life. NO HIGH! RELIEF

It's time we stop the stigma of this disease. It is time we talk about it and inform people of it! My daughter is a heroin addict and every day I talk about to anyone who will listen!
