What about ppl w/painful disabilities & cancers who cannot get relief any other way. We are being brutalized by the system on such a massive scale that now 1 in 10 of all suicides are pain related. What are you doing to spread awareness about the rampant prejudice & loss of life?
Less than half of the American people believe there is an effective long-term treatment option for opioid use disorder, so it’s important that we help everyone understand that effective treatment IS available. We need to put a #Spotlight on the #OpioidEpidemic

You should specify that you're talking about the opioid ADDICTION problem and NOT pain patients that need opioids in order to perform routine daily functions. You canNOT understand chronic pain unless you've experienced it.

Thank You! I tried telling people on Twitter how addictive and deathly dangerous opiates are and all I get for response are people writing essays to me defending their "precious" and Please anyone responding to me I'm not against old/dying/surgery people getting relief obviously.

Opioids are not in & of themselves addictive, recent studies show a link w/abnormally firmed Mu Receptors & the American Psychiatric Association views it as up to 60% genetic. The drugs themselves don’t cause addiction anymore than books cause dyslexia.
