Agreed. Sadly, due to the opioid epidemic people who legitimately suffer with pain issues are being demonized denied treatment and left to suffer. This is unacceptable and must change.

Finally! In talking w opiate addicts (my type B) most would be happy to figure out a way to treat their disease w real & COMPASSIONATE medical care. When i presented this idea to one addict he got choked up and couldnt speak. Today I would be arrested by DEA if I treated him

Addiction deserves to be treated w/compassion but it’s not the only condition that needs that. Ppl w/painful disabilities & cancers are being scapegoated, abused & denied treatment . 1 in 10 of all suicides is now related to pain, where is your concern over that epidemic?
