Should patients who are being stripped of pain meds, in the name of addiction, pray away our pain? I know you only tweet concern for addicts, but do you pray for us too or just addicts? Personally, I’d rather have your advocacy than prayers. We deserve concern & protection too.

The only problem about appropriation of specific funding to faith based is everyone assumes religion and often forget about when funding a service for change, licensure. Which means the funding is being given to reimburse licensure for paying to integrate faith based curriculums.

It's like funding self help books and bibles with addicted wording for non profit. When SAMSHA has client minimal need of edit handouts for free. The professional should be familiar with integrating approaches. All approaches can create faith from evidenced change for better.

Sadly, due to the Opioid Epidemic people who legitimately suffer with pain issues are being demonized denied treatment and left to suffer. This is unacceptable. There must be a better way to deal with this issue.

The Surgeon General NEVER helps. Never has. RE: Opoids....Me & my fellow veterans suffer because of drug addicts. It's just like guns. Criminals can get them but you want to take them away from people that need protection.

In my Opinion, ending the Opioid Crisis will require action from All Four: The Federal Level, State and local levels, The Private Sector, The American People. Faith based groups are essential
