Severe chronic pain is a medical condition, too, so why do we give preference to drug addicts over law-abiding citizens who cannot get adequate pain medicine to relieve their suffering?

We also need to
#EndTheStigma against#chronicpain#chronicillness and#cancer patients so we can get our#pain meds without being labeled as a drug addict. We are not abusing our medications and we are in the middle of this "war on drugs" We did nothing wrong yet we are payingThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

#ChronicPain patients considering#suicide. Some people benefit from#opioids. We cannot forget them as we reach out to help those battling#addiction.https://twitter.com/NatPainReport/status/1022490184040906752?s=20 …Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Discrimination against chronic pain patients is exactly what is happening. Pain is not a one size fits all scenario. Do not use Demi's mental illness and addiction issue to further CDC's manmade opioid crisis. Chronic pain patients are not the ones that are overdosing.

So take the stigma from addicts and place it fully on the shoulders of chronic pain patients? intractable pain patients are the new scapgoats for this fake war on drugs

I love how when it’s a drug problem it’s a mental health issue. But when it’s a gun problem it’s a gun issue. Why can’t we all focus on fixing and funding mental health institutions?
