Like all other diseases, addiction must be treated with skill, compassion and urgency. And like other chronic diseases, we have evidence-based treatment that works, and we know #recoveryispossible #breakthestigmapic.twitter.com/WbR8Nadhbr

maybe you can do it without killing pain patients. so many dead already due to the #opioidhysteria and false #opioid information coming from the #CDC and other government agencies. #painpatients are not #addicts. #90MG MME is torture and in some cases-murder.

Sure, treat all diseases, but not the pain, right? Now govt takes away a patient’s pain meds all in the name of preventing addiction, even though most will never addict. Less than 5% of the population will, but everyone must suffer. How very hypocritical of you! #ShareOurPain

Yes, treatments for addictions work. We have evidence based medical and treatment interventions that are yielding predictable positive outcomes, saving lives. We must work to increase access to these interventions. Recovery is real for many people and shows us pathways to hope.

Methilepsia describes problematic cravings towards breaking of a habitual bond; as in devotion. Calling addiction a disease is a prejudice. Addiction is medically diagnosable, but not necessarily problematic.

Definitely university curriculum of a reflective word. As the next alcoholic liver disease doctorate goes through indicating the surgeons focus with the blade. Evidently not necessarily dictionary and addiction study guidance though.

Of course, the rules don’t apply to you or anyone you love. If your child developed #CRPS or #Arachnoiditis, no doubt you’d be sure they had access to opioids, bc that’s what works. But everyone else go F yourself. “Let them eat cake”

The government's insistence on speaking about chronic pain patients' use of opioids to addicts is causing unnecessary suffering for CPPs. Many of us have been safely adhering to our treatments plans and are now faced with removal of meds and no viable treatment options. SAD.

I hear the agony of medical patients forced off their pain care every day. You haven't 'broken stigma'. You're breaking them. Stop attacking innocent doctors, and patients to put on a show of fighting opioids.
