Last week we had a great day recording invertebrate species at NWT Brett's Wood with volunteers Steve Lane & Andy Brown, recording over 50 species! 🐛 Species data for our nature reserves is fed into our conservation management work. 📸 A hawthorn shield bug found on the day 🐞

❗️ Due to the wet and muddy conditions, the floodwall path at NWT Hickling Broad is unsafe and has been closed, meaning it is not possible to do the circular walk. From the visitor centre you can still walk to the Bittern Hide, or to the viewing point, but not between the two.
