Today, Nov. 16, the sanctuary stated, “We can confirm that Sheba has arrived at Best Friends sanctuary in Kanab, UT. She is being seen by our vets and staff and is in good spirits. We look forward to providing the best care we can for her.” Best of luck to Sheba!
On Friday, Nov. 13! Mr. Sanchez, the owner of the dog Sheba, released her to an out-of-state animal sanctuary. These developments are important steps toward resolving the litigation Sheba’s owner filed against the County. Click below.
There is much to be grateful for this year and coming up on November 19th the Thanksgiving Food Basket Distribution happening at CityLink. You will notice there is No Registration Required this year!

Seniors without air conditioning at home who need to cool down should call the County’s Adult Protective Services Hotline toll-free at 1-877-565-2020. County staff will bring fans to their homes. If you know a senior who might need help, please check on them. Call the hotline.
