    Now, why do on-chain royalties matter? When an NFT’s royalties are recorded at the platform level (i.e. not on the global registry), the platform controls the terms for those royalties, and that data can be closed off to other platforms.

    Hi frens 👋, in case you didn’t know…🧵👇 The SuperRare marketplace uses the Royalty Registry @ (an open-source project headed up by ) This means all creator royalties are recorded on-chain from the jump.
