Organized retail crime is weighing our City down - we can’t afford to lose these anchor stores. Waiting to hear back on my letter of inquiry from our DA @chesaboudin and Police Chief Bill Scott @SFPDChief on their coordinated strategy.https://www.sfgate.com/local/article/Target-San-Francisco-stores-reduced-hours-why-16284219.php …

have you heard back from Amazon yet? do they know that the "Amazon Marketplace" is consistently selling stolen goods? do they care? do they have plan to stop it?

Lol look at this galaxy brain trying to pin this on Amazon somehow instead of the DA and his straight up enabling of this.

I'm going off of the hearing Safai called. During that hearing, we heard that people steal big amounts of stuff from Walgreens, and that stuff eventually ends up on Amazon.

If that's true, we can either work with Amazon to stop this practice, at which point shoplifting large amounts of stuff just won't make sense anymore. Or we can focus on prosecuting the individuals. Or both.

Sure Amazon is the only way to sell stolen merchandise.
It should be pretty obvious that stopping theft is better than stopping fencing stolen merchandise.
