      In short, to be eligible for monetization, channels will need 4k watch hours in the past 12 months and 1k subs. This is mostly to prevent spammers and other bad actors from harming and taking ad revenue from inspiring and original creators.

      With all do respect I don't think there's any "bad actors" on youtube quite frankly may be some who knows. Let's take my channel for example: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1zED6sS-MW_fAmSLtCuUIA … Is it gonna lose all monetization? It only had 2 videos plus I rarely make videos
