How long was this exposure?
-
90 seconds, but it only took few seconds for the trails to cross our field of view (4.5 degrees on the side). It was only 30 degrees away from the zenith (we have the precise numbers, obviously).

Dearest ASAS-SN. Please consider there are a great number of people without access to internet. What you do is vital and important but access to high speed internet is essential in today’s world. You folks are smart. There’s a fix for this. Quit hating and find it!

I do appreciate that you wrote a nice Tweet, but why is it our job to find a solution, and who will pay for our time and effort - this is like mining companies destroying nature, reaping the profits, and then declaring bankruptcy to avoid cleaning their mess.

Do you have any handle on what proportion of ASAS-SN images are affected by Starlink? I’d imaging right now it’s relately low (still)?
-
We have not done this systematic study, but we might do it, now that there is more of them.
