The NCUC has allowed Duke Energy to enact a dictatorship over power in #NC.
But the fight is most certainly not over. Just this year, the #NCUC will be holding public hearings for the upcoming rate hikes and for proposed updates to the #CarbonPlan (CPIRP).
We'll be watching.

Duke missed the forecast on demand. With the coal and gas power plants producing less, they had a gap of 2,800 MW. That’s roughly equivalent to 3 large power plants.
