The superintendent knowingly lied to parents of victims and community about Cruz ever being referred to the program. He avoided arrest because of it. That's the point of the program. Students are referred to it in lieu of arrest.

Possibly he didn’t know. Nor did he know he had a tremendous budget that was to make schools safe. Nor did he know he received emails years ago from a local law enforcement that requested a meeting to ensure schools are trained & safe. Clearly he hasn’t been present for the job
