    I guess we are going to change our pinned tweet/toot 'cos we had a small rearrangement and now instead of Alex and Sasha we have Alex and Angel (she/they) She is the protector and I'm the one usually feeling bad <.< I guess butterflies aren't the best at going against wind

    My last take on the recent trans discourse. Gender dysphoria is the DISTRESS caused by the mismatch of sex and gender NOT the mismatch itself. You can have a mismatch and not be distressed;be accepting & content. There's still a mismatch.

    Another thread on how transferred/truscum have affected someone with their harmful views

    I spent so long thinking “I’m trans, my gender doesn’t match the gender I was presumed to be, I MUST present masculine to counteract this” but that never felt right for me & I now present feminine but learned so quickly that my presentation has no bearing on my personal identity.

    For many many people, gender dysphoria is NOT EASY TO SPOT. It took me a decade to figure out that I even experienced any. Any position that ignores this is throwing people like me under the bus. That's all.
