My mother-in-law had no idea about any of this. What the procedure was or anything. She had bought the circumcision myths long ago. So she let her do it. My son came home screaming. A wail that causes your heart to stop. He didn't stop for hours. No matter what I did. 2/4

I took him back to the doctor. Found out there had been a forced retraction. And instead of doing literally ANYTHING, I was asked why I didn't circumcise my son. When I told them I didn't believe in mutilating my son, they repeated the same old myths to me. 3/4

I quickly lost my temper, I'll admit. When my son is wailing in my arms because of ignorant doctors allowing outdated BS....I don't have much patience. The nurse glared, I glared back. Was told there was nothing they could do. I left and never came back. 4/4

Here's the video I made just a few days after it happened. I needed to talk about it, and it's a mess of a rant, but I think it gets the point across pretty well.https://youtu.be/_Zx8mZWfEmk

I do have to say....I don't blame my mother-in-law. She trusted the doctors. Like we're taught to do. I blame the doctors, and my anger lies with them as well. My mother-in-law hasn't pushed for circumcision or anything, and after I explained it to her, we've had no issues.

Yo, what the hell!
-
Yea....this happened a couple years ago now but I figured I would explain my stance. Since I keep seeing it in my feed.
-
Yea that's not right what they. A decision like that should strictly be the parents' decision. Damn, I'm mad now.
-
I made a video on my old channel about it and I can hear the anger in my voice. I'm still angry.
-
You still might be able to file a complaint with your state's medical board because the doctor did an unnecessary, damaging procedure on your child without your consent.
-
Thank you very much, I am definitely gonna look into it.
-
No problem. I can only imagine how horrifying it must have been to find out what that doctor did.
-
Honestly....I've never had the urge to beat someone to an inch of their life....except that moment. I would have gladly gone to jail if it weren't for my kiddos.

You should sue! That’s terrible
-
Well it seems I will be. I didn't think I had a case, but it appears I do. I'm gonna sue the pants off these bastards.
-
Healthcare worker here. You absolutely have a case, and a rather serious one (for that clinic). You as the child's parent and legal guardian did not give your consent to the procedure nor were you asked for it. I can't express how big of a no-no that is. Sue them. Sue them big.
-
I should have tweeted about this when it happened. I feel so silly for thinking I'd be laughed out of court or something.
-
Most lawyers will do a free 1 hour consultation either over the phone or in person. See what you can do! You’ll likely be able to sue for a lot.
-
Oh thank you!! I was wondering about the consultation thing.

What is a forced retraction, if I may be so bold?
-
You're fine! A forced retraction is when the skin around the head of the penis is forcibly pulled back. Something that happens naturally at a certain point in life. Forcing it can cause all sorts of issues, and can lead to permanent damage. Including getting circumcised anyway.
-
That is absolutely awful. I'm sorry your son had to experience that.
-
It's not your fault, but thank you. I just truly hope it doesn't leave any permanent damage.
