    A couple of friends checked in yesterday after the horrible shootings in Atlanta that killed eight people, six of them Asian women. And I had to say that, actually, on Monday in Manhattan, I was followed on the street. (It was brief, a bit scary, and I’m fine.) 1/

    Thank you for this, . If I scripted bungle after bungle in news coverage, people would think it was far-fetched. But we saw many mistakes amplified over and over Wed. Are journalists stepping up their skepticism and taking time to do more complete reporting today?
