Def niche, but here’s a message for everyone 🙂 “These results suggest that we have, until now, only measured the tip of the iceberg in the activation-mapping literature due to our goal of limiting the familywise error rate through cluster extent-based inference.”

Happy New Year! The mixed models series has begun! I have no idea how long it will go, but the first section is about 10 videos long. I will release 1-2 videos on Tues and Thurs. Feedback is welcomed!

Thanks to and many more contributors, there is comprehensive user documentation for DataLad 0.12. Even if you know nothing about version control and data management, this is a smooth and practical introduction to the topic, and helps you get results with DataLad fast.

Remember cluster failure by Eklund et al: , ? That paper looked at the false positive rates. Here we look at the impact of new cluster solutions on the true positive rate. With The sensitivity is pretty low.

Michelle Hampson now talks about clinical trial designs, advocating to adapt the requirements for early phase clinical trial as they are currently done with neurofeedback

Quick/urgent: If you are using ReproIn convention/heuristic (with heudiconv) to convert your dicoms into BIDS please let me know! I just want to know where it is used and by how many (personal, lab, center). Just in case my email debian@onerussian.com

2/2 Structure is clearly important but its also not a stretch to recognize flexible organization on top of fixed infrastructure. The 2nd paper is on node-to-network assignments in different brain states.

1/2 Mehraveh Salehi ( ) has 2 papers just published demonstrating the flexible organization of the brain within a fixed structural basis. These were remarkably difficult to publish as some reviewers feel structure defines everything.
