2018 was a busy year for Maine's progressive grassroots and advocacy groups. We had some big wins, and some devastating losses. Through it all, Mainers never gave up. 2019, we're ready for you.

This is the right decision, , but we suspect it's for the wrong reason. You know Maine has swung left and after your disastrous vote and speech, you are now trying to don your "moderate" disguise. We know better. You are no moderate.

Fresh snow and temps in the teens couldn't disuade these hardy Mainers with Midcoast Maine Indivisible () from sending a message to : Get to work for Mainers!

From now on, one simple sign will greet all those arriving in our state at the Kittery line. It will say: “Welcome Home."

Maine’s trump-before-Trump stomped on democracy and showed contempt for law, decency and human health and well being. A disgrace to Maine. Tell ex-gov what you think of this blatantly political condoning of drug crime

Maine Repub Gov Paul LePage -- who said drug traffickers (a) are mostly black and hispanic and (b) should have their heads cut off -- leaves office tonight, but not before pardoning a pro-LePage GOP State Rep... for his felony drug trafficking conviction.

That emotion you felt when you heard 's inaugural address tonight...the one that seemed familiar but that you couldn't place? It was hope.

It would be the height of irresponsibility & political cynicism for Senate Republicans to now reject the same legislation they have already supported.

Susan Collins is proud of not having listened to Mainers She did listen to a few calls from the late George Bush though Her Fox News interview reveals that she was NOT undecided—she just concealed her decision and strung constituents along Which means ... 1/

Old enough to remember the time in 2018 when Trump/Ryan/McConnell shut down the government because we couldn’t afford $3.4B for health care for low-income kids. But please, lecture us about how spending $5B on an ineffective wall is in our national interest.

Big picture here is that Maine's most respected news outlet (deservedly so!) swallowed and regurgitated a totally fabricated story w/o checking its accuracy--even though the story was fed to it by a powerful pol who stood to gain from its publication. Cautionary tale.

Hmm. Contrary to the self-serving narrative from Collins, this piece suggests Coast Guard pay fix was the result of "extensive research and legal analysis" among Coast Guard, DHS and OMB. Doesn't mention Collins call to White House.

After 8 long years, is preparing to depart his office, leaving behind far too many Mainers who are hungrier, poorer and sicker than they were when he took office, a direct result of irresponsible and hateful budget cuts that targeted the poor.
