    Oof Well, at least the Polish alphabet only goes up to two-byte chars. Japanese characters are often 3 to 4 bytes for one glyph. It's not all bad, though -- you'll have \xe3\x83\x88 for ト (to) and \xe3\x83\x89 forド (do), organized by a base sound with different modifiers added.

    I'm sorry, but Reddit doesn't want to let me read your poem. I'm sure it's wonderful though. I've had friendships drift apart. It hurts. I've had friends go into the deep end. And I've fallen off myself in the past, hurting others. I imagine that's reflected in what is written.
