    And on top of this dark pattern, when I called in to downgrade, they said that b/c my monthly plan had just gone through, if I downgraded, they'd have to charge me the lower price again! No pro-rating, no credits. Big yikes. I want to run away from this company now.

    While looking at an article by , I noticed this pattern: unfortunately, as you scroll, it‘s confusing to which section the button applies. Is this ? What could they do differently? BG colors? Include co name in button? Good Bad

    Oh Forms.... Why on earth would you show short answers in a chart like this? Nearly every person has a different answer. And now I can't read any of them (unless I go in to another view) This is a dumb display.

    Masking passwords is an abomination. In the first place, it's ineffective, and in the second place, it makes users angry and frustrated - especially on mobile devices. When you combine it with restrictive password rules, it makes it even worse.

    Wells Fargo is making it more difficult to deposit checks with their mobile app. Now they want us to write "For mobile deposit at wells fargo bank only" on the back of the check. Sounds like a necktie-wearing lawyer forced that one through UX.

    I almost never get this right. I visit my home once in every few months and I can never remember which one is a drawer and which one is a door. Great interior design, but in the end ux sucks.

    Color alone should never be used to convey information. Many colors also have cultural connotations that shouldn't be violated, even when used with other signifiers.
