  5. Trishund ganapati Temple near shaniwar peth in Pune. Ganesha idol with three trunks with peacock as vehicle. Just below the idol is said to be the samadhi of Saint Goswami maharaj who is said to have worshipped this idol.

  6. As per the version of Ramayana in Thailand called Ramakien, Hanuman is the most central character who actually helps the army of Rama cross the ocean to go to city of Tosakan (Ravana in our mythology). Here you can see Hanuman as the bridge itself!

  11. Shankara is credited to have found the idols and reinstated worship at Badrinath, Hrisikesh narayan & Jagannath Puri among the numerous other temples where idols were put in rivers, wells, buried underground to protect them from Mughal invasions.
