People need to get better about separating political and moral equality from other kinds. The whole problem of equality in the first place is how to conceive of it given that people are obviously unequal along many different axes. No matter who you are, tons of people are better than you at tons of things. Moral/political equality is meant specifically to address
this, not to deny it! Denying it, which is another way of conflating moral and political equality with these other kinds, actually cedes a ton of ground to the right, since they can obviously point out that some people are clearly far more talented than others in any domain.
The ideas of beauty and health are more complicated and have social and political dimensions and consequences, obviously, but those aren't reasons to abandon both altogether, either.
In fact, this is something marxism is quite explicit about!
