    We love our historic Las Cruces home with its state-of-the-art modern conveniences like Tesla Solar. I’ll miss my cool-place-to-hang-out rocket fire & water feature but it’s time to blast off to the space coast for bigger and better rockets. Waaay bigger.

    Facebook gave me a “9 years ago today” reminder. A nice message from my beautiful niece (UT grad) giving me crap because K-State lost in the 2013 Fiesta Bowl. It made me smile because she was so fun to be around & made me so sad because she took her own life a few years later.

    I had a dream that a neighbor kid told me that he had a pop quiz in his science class and got a zero on it. Whereby I asked if his teacher graded on the Celsius or Fahrenheit scale. I thought it was hilarious in the dream but found it only mildly amusing after awakening. Weird.

    Don’t read anything into this aside that somebody with very dry wit gave me this hat when I took over as Director of Flight Test for The Spaceship Company a few years back. I’m scared to wear it but I do appreciate it.

    You know if I was going to do the coin toss prior to a nationally televised game, I’d practice it a few times prior. Actually, I’d practice prior to any game. I mean, what did the coin do, a single half flip?! It also bugs me that they call it prior to the flip.

    I heard ⁦⁩ has also terminated the employment of those employees that refused to get the COVID vax. It will be interesting to see how the job market will be for those refusing the vaccine.

    Now this looks like a fun way to celebrate the New Year! Just don’t burn down a friend’s barn, the back of a house, a few vehicles, and 38 acres of wheat. You know, like I did once with much less of a firework.
