I like how this person thinks data science is more useful than statistical programming. If nobody knows statistical programming, who's going to actually do the data science?? Magic Elves??

My eyes just keep going back to where they've placed "data visualization" in this particular image. I just can't get over it.

Considering they made it fairly obvious that it's about what they already know, there's an implicit "learn more" in front of every item. E.G., it's not useful to learn more statistics at this time, but it's useful to learn more data science.

That could make sense, except that data science consists of statistics and several other skills that are each placed in different quadrants!

Well, the placement of data science says that they need to learn more of it... so I think he probably just doesn't know. He himself said that the placement is about the marginal returns and that they are already sufficiently well versed in stats and math.

Doesn't Harvard have a well-regarded Mathematics department? Did someone there park in a Business school professor's parking space?
