    After I told my members we're closing Discord. They messaged me with: Discord was so confusing. Discord made me feel old. Lol, when it comes to developing products, I feel like I have to be a mind reader.

    I tried to use Discord, Mighty Networks, for my community. It wasn't a good fit. In the end, Facebook Group won. They have a great notification system, and I didn't have to teach my members how to use the platform.

    String, I can’t launch without a website. I launched a beta product with Google docs and Stripe/PayPal. And made a 3k of sales. I also made zero sales from this tactic. Instead I gained feedback. The market will tell you what they like.

    I noticed I can get really woo-woo and technical when it comes to branding. Many would reach out and ask me to help. To them: String, you ask weird Q's To me: Oh they are not ready for me to help them. Also, we may just not be a good fit.

    A better approach is to treat content more like a volume game of experiments. Eventually you will improve your voice + content + volks (audience) It’s all data.

    And if you read this far. There’s no such thing as guaranteed engagement for shit content. Shit content = no doors, it’s outside where no one listens or engage.

    But if you want guaranteed engagement the best thing to do is the one that triggers community and conversations. Triggering those two things tend to trigger the social algo-gods.
