    A witness said both men were transported to hospitals, where their conditions remain unclear. Howe answered his phone while in an ambulance, so he is at least alert. The float was carrying other GOP candidates and local party activists.

    The accident happened after the Steamboat Days parade when a tractor pulling a flatbed float lost control and hit a curb, according to one person on the float. Howe sustained scrapes and other injuries; an aide appeared more seriously hurt after getting caught beneath float.

    I want to meet the “new” voters over age 100. For real.

    NEW VOTER REGISTRATION NUMBERS: As of yesterday, 52,644 new MN voters have registered to vote in 2018. Of that number, 35,608 (67.6%) are between the ages of 18-30. Ten of the new voters are over the age of 100.

    Minnesotans will be able to apply for a REAL ID-compliant card beginning next month but will have 2 years to obtain one if they choose. That means you can use your standard licenses & ID to board domestic flights until Oct. 1, 2020.
