Very true. When grandmasters was created I talked shit about the program, but for the most part, the performance from these players changed my mind.

All that is true. What stands out more is that people who qualed thru ladder are not far off in performance. Tightening up play, and RNG going your way puts you at the doorstep of the better players.

a better measurment is swiss win% rather than swiss average win # mostly because a person going 3-3 drop isn't better than a person who went 4-4

I guess I kind of forgot that not everyone is playing the same amount of rounds lol. Ideally I would do winrate while excluding matches vs players who used the same method as you but that felt like too much work and I wanted to get it out ASAP.
