I'm a gun owner. I'm also a vocal advocate for strict gun laws. Somebody asked me what I'd do if the US passed Australian type laws and demanded I turn in my guns. What would I do? Get rid of my guns to prevent gun violence? What the fuck are we even waiting for? I'm in!

Same. However, I'm wondering if you or anyone else following this could chime on this article. He makes a case that ownership isn't linked to homicide rates. I disagree. It seems he's ignoring the availaible/not available side of the question. Thoughts welcome from all.
