    The danger of pervasive disinfo is not being misled about a single topic, but losing our ability to discern truth. When we lose confidence in what we know, we become unable to make decisions that democratic societies need to make to govern themselves.

    When I talk to folks who are swimming in domestic (US) disinformation these days... this is where they’re hanging out. (This and YouTube.) We focus so much on Facebook, but it’s their other product (Instagram) that we might need to be paying the most attention to.
